TREATMENTS FOR THE COLDER MONTHS
Yoohoo to all of you! I hope you’re all keeping well during this lockdown. We are super excited to open, especially during our favourite month Christmas where we are releasing some exciting offers! So keep an eye out!
We thought we’d come on here to talk to you about what treatments are best for the colder and winter months, as we say goodbye to the sun and the cold enters. We often find ourselves with the heating on, cooped up indoors, drinking tea all day. As much as this sounds very appealing ( I am actually doing this as I write this), our skin suffers. Our skin starts to become dehydrated, inflamed and dull. Which is why we are here as experts to tell you how you can combat this and have healthy skin during the winter months too.
A proper home care routine is essential to optimise results. As the weather changes, so does your skincare routine.

TREATMENTS IDEAL FOR THE WINTER MONTHS
There are various treatments that are better to have when there is less sun exposure.
ALUMIERMD CHEMICAL PEELS
Chemical peels are a great treatment to start over winter as you shouldn’t be exposing your skin to too much sunlight whilst having these. You still must wear sunscreen though. Whether your dream is tackling acne, scarring, uneven skin tone or ageing – we recommend to start whilst the sun is in and not as strong. Here is a reminder of some of the peels that we do:
GLOW PEEL
(Dry, Normal, Oily, Dehydrated, Acne, Hyperpigmentation & Ageing)
Glow Peel combines lactic acid, salicylic acid and resorcinol, creating a multipurpose resurfacing solution effective in minimising the appearance of fine lines, wrinkles and hyperpigmentation issues like age spots, discolouration and uneven skin tone. This formula exfoliates dead skin cells and stimulates cell renewal. To suit individual needs, Glow Peel can be customised by strength by numbers of layers.
RADIANT 20/10
(Acne, hyperpigmentation, uneven skin tone, congestion, open pores & oiliness)
With lactic and salicylic acid, radiant 20/10 resurfacing peel contains a powerful combination of them both which improves skin tone and texture by exfoliating dead skin cells and speeding cell turnover. The multipurpose resurfacing peel reduces acne pimples and minimises the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, large pores, hyperpigmentation and sun damage.
THE HYDRAFACIAL
I’m sure you are all aware by now how great the Hydrafacial is and what it is. If you need a reminder we cover this in one of our previous blog posts.
The Hydrafacial is great for the winter months as our skin is left dry and craving hydration. The serums pumped in your skin during this treatment will keep your skin looking super fresh and glowing during the winter months.
LASER HAIR REMOVAL
Laser hair removal, especially on the face area is great to start during the colder months as laser is not recommended when you are exposed to sunlight or flying abroad to sunny destinations.
It is also the perfect time to get hair free before next summer! Imagine no shaving, no waxing. Ever. Again.
