Terms and Conditions
Set out below are the terms on which Skin innovation provides service to our clients. Please ensure that you have read and fully understood them prior to booking any treatment that Skin Innovation provides. 1.Deposit and Cancellation Policy Booking a consultation – We take a fully refundable deposit of £30 for all of our consultations including those that are free of charge. If you need to cancel or reschedule we kindly ask you to call us 48 hours before your appointment. Failure to give notice will result in the deposit being taken by the clinic. Your deposit can be refunded in clinic or used against treatment or product. *Notes-Skin analysis consultation will not receive refund on attendance as this consultation is chargable at £30 however this is redeemable against purchasing treatment or a product after the consultation.
Booking single treatments or chargable consultation-We take a fully refundable deposit of £30 for all our consultations or when booking in single treatments, this is refunded if you need to cancel giving us 48 hours notice in advance, or when you attend the deposit will be deducted from your treatment cost. Failure to give notice will result in the deposit being taken by the clinic.
Booking treatment of pre-paid value pack- If you need to cancel or reschedule we kindly ask that you call us at least 48 hours before your appointment. Failure to give notice will result in the treatment being redeemed by the clinic.
Refunds
Skininovation has a strict “no refund policy” on all purchased services and treatments.
An exception could be made, if the client has a medical condition, confirmed in a document, written by a doctor, and saying that the client is unable to proceed with the purchased treatment.
A refund could also be considered, if the treatment is refused by the therapist, due to unsuitability. This is a matter of discussion during consultation between the client and the therapist.
Transfering treatments
It is possible, for the client, to transfer the purchased treatment to another person, or to a later date.
Appointments and Cancellations
All therapists at Skin Innovation are trained and approved in accordance with the company’s treatment protocols and therefor Skin innovation does not guarantee continued treatment with a named therapist.
If you cannot attend your appointment, please contact us on 01277295990. We will need to know that you want to cancel 48 hours before your appointment is due. Failure to cancel or reschedule at least 48 hours before your appointment will result in the loss of treatment from your value pack or deposit being redeemed.
Please arrive for your appointment at least 10 minutes in advance so that the necessary paperwork can be completed.
Late arrival might result in reduced treatment time or cancellation of the appointment.
Prior to your appointment we will imfor you of any preparation required in advance of your treatment. Failure to follow the guide lines might result in a cancellation of your appointment, reduced treatment time, or additional fees being charged.
Credit Cards, deposits and payments
To secure an appointment with Skin innovation a deposit is required.
For an appointment with a therapist a deposit of £30 will be charged to your debit or credit card at the time of the booking, in order to secure the appointment. Deposits can be used
towards payment for treatment or a product.
Courses of Treatments
All treatments purchased as a course must be paid in full in advance of the first treatment. All treatment course must be taken within 12 months of the date of purchase. Any treatments that not taken after 12 months will be forfeited.
Treatment Suitability
We will always assess whether treatment is suitable for you, or likely to give you good results, prior to any treatment being carried out. If not, we will inform you as to the reasons why. You will be liable just for the cost of the initial consultation, where applicable.
Liability
Skin innovation will not be liable in contract, tort or otherwise for any economic loss (including, without limitation, loss of profit), or for any other special, indirect or consequential loss or damage arising out of, or in connection with, its provision of any goods and/or services to the client.
It is the client’s responsibility to ensure that he or she provide skin Innovation with all relevant medical details prior to each treatment. Skin innovation will not be liable for any damage that occurs as a result of the client’s failure to disclose such details.
The client agree to comply with all instructions and recommendations given to them by, or on behalf of, Skin Innovation regarding the care of the treated area. Nothing in these terms of business shall exclude or limit Skin innovation liability for any personal injury resulting from Skin innovation negligence.
Complaints
Skin innovation ensure to treat all clients appropriately, compassionately and fairly. If however, you have an issue with any matter in relation to your treatment at Skin innovation you are entitled to lodge a complaint, either in person, by telephone or in writing. If you require assistance with making your complaint, Skin Innovation will be pleased to help and support you through the process.
The member of staff who initially receives the complaint will provide the details to the Clinic Manager or their designated deputy. Where this cannot be resolved immediately, you will receive a letter within three working days to confirm that an investigation into the matter is underway and that a response will be made as soon as possible.
Complaints of a non-medical nature will be handled in their entirety by the Clinic Manager.
If your complaint is treatment related the matter will be discussed with the relevant practitioner and may require you to attend an additional consultation with that practitioner. The objective of this is to provide an explanation or a solution to your concerns. Skininnovation aims to furnish you with a full written response within 20 working days or where this is not possible, an explanation as to the cause of the delay.
