HYDRAFACIAL BOOSTERS
Hydrafacial as you’ve probably have heard is the ultimate treatment for deep, long lasting hydration and rejuvenation of all skin types. A facial that offers strong anti-ageing and antioxidant action. It’s also an ideal solution for treating oily or acne prone skin, while dramatically reducing enlarged pores. Did you know that a Hydrafacial can be tailored regarding your concerns? Your Hydrafacial experience can be upgraded with additional boosters that can target to different skin concerns such as ageing, acne or pigmentation.
If you want to personalise your Hydrafacial experience then you just need to upgrade with one of the following specialised serums: Dermabuilder, Britenol or Glysal acid peel.
Which Hydrafacial booster is the right one for you?
Dermabuilder Peptide Complex – Anti-ageing
You can add this booster to your Hydrafacial treatment if your mainly concern is skin ageing. This serum formulation has dual peptide action and its target is to help stimulate collagen production and improve cell structure strength. It’s designed to smooth the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, whilst increasing skin firmness and enhancing its elasticity, resulting in even skin tone and texture.
Glysal Acid Peel- Acne/acne scarring
This serum is used to help skin concerns such as acne or acne scarring and general rejuvenation. It has glycolic acid, which is for exfoliation and salicylic acid that helps to penetrate and deliver the peel deeper into the skin. There are 3 different strengths, of glycolic acid starting from 7,5%, 15% and 30% (MD peel). Strengths are gradually increased as and when is needed throughout a course of treatments. There is no downtime and minimal to no post peel scaling with this treatment, but during the application there might be a tingling sensation that will be gone after the peel is neutralised.
Britenol Intensive Spot Corrector- Pigmentation
If your main concern is to minimise the appearance of brown, dark spots or areas then that’s the boost to add into your Hydrafacial experience. This serum contains Alpha Arbutin that works in order to block skin’s natural pigment (called melanin) production, and to provide natural lightening on the darken areas. It contains also Vitamin C to clarify and brighten the skin but as an antioxidant to protect and produce collagen as well. In addition a unique blend of antioxidants including horse chestnut, arnica flower and green tea helps to detoxify skin and fight the damage caused by free radicals.
How often can I have the above boosters?
It’s being recommended to have your 6 course Hydrafacial treatment with your preferred boost serum every week for better results, that can be followed by monthly treatments to preserve the result from your course.
Which Hydrafacial protocol should I choose?
Depending what your main skin concerns there are 3 different Hydrafacial protocols that we offer. The anti-ageing treatment is a protocol to target ageing skin, in order to improve the appearance of fine lines and wrinkles, increase collagen levels and tighten the skin. The britenol treatment is a protocol to target pigmentation, sun damage, age spots and melasma. The peel treatment is a protocol for general rejuvenation or to target acne and scarring as well as to control excessive sebum and general congestion.
Are there any boost serums for the sensitive areas of the eyes and lips?
You can add perk eye replenishing serum and lip revitalising serum to your treatment to have a complete Hydrafacial experience. The main advantage to include these serums into your treatment is that you can continue using the remaining product as skincare at home. The eye serum contains horse chestnut seed extract that is high in antioxidants and helps to protect and support skin’s elasticity, arnica flower extract to soothe, hydrate and renew the thin skin of the eye area and lactic acid which is a brightening agent, aids in reducing the appearance puffiness and dark circles underneath the eyes. The lips serum contains peony extract, a natural antioxidant that is used as a skin brightener and conditioning agent, aloe leaf extract as a skin softener, anti-irritant that also hydrates the lips, peppermint oil to stimulate circulation and promote this way natural plumper lips, and hyaluronic acid which is for long lasting deep hydration.
How can I use the left perk serums at home?
Homecare is as important as your treatment, so we advice to use your serum twice daily. One time with your morning skin care regime and the second in the evening. For your eyes one pass above and one underneath are enough and for your lips after the application of the serum you need to remember to apply your lip balm with SPF 30 during the day time, that will be given to you with your serum.
What if I am not sure of which boost should I have?
Then, we ‘re here to help! With a skin consultation that takes place before your Hydrafacial treatment we can discuss more about your skin concerns and recommend based on that the best suited Hydrafacial experience! Don’t hesitate to express any of your questions of what your skin really needs!
